Although the Girl Scouts have repeatedly stated that none of their cookie sales “is given to any other group," that didn't stopped Family Research Council from asking for prayers against Planned Parenthood and private organizations (Girl Scouts) that are supposedly affiliated with Planned Parenthood.

I seriously doubt their sales are down since they are accepting plastic for the first time this year. I haven't bought any for years but will a point to this year.

I hope this backfires on these bozos like the Komen controversy did with PP. PP got oodles of donations because of it. BUY those cookies BUY! ; )

I've bought a couple boxes so far this year. If their sales are suffering I'm willing to bet it has zero to do with their non-existent connections to Planned Parenthood and maybe some to do with their raising prices to $4 a box in recent years.

Even with expensive cookies I'd much rather support the Girls Scouts of America than the Boy Scouts of America, who are very public with their right wing ties and their policies discriminating against gays and atheists.

Holy crap!! The Religious Right has completely jumped the track. We are seeing numerous examples of their lunacy nearly every day.

Furthermore, it looks like the GOP is dedicated to "carrying their water." I can't believe that I actually voted for GOP candidates in the past. Those days are long gone... it will be cold day in hell before anyone from that side of the aisle gets my vote!

I'm really excited about all their craziness right now. People will have their minds more on the subject of politics with these guys screaming real loud. The anti-choice and anti-gay groups are painting themselves right into the corner with Fred Phelps in the field of public opinion.

The stupider the better right now ; )
